Facebook ads can be a great way to grow your business. But if you don’t do them right, they can be a disaster. Here are my tips for making the most of your facebook ads.
Get really specific about your audience. Make a customer profile and put in all the things they would like, how old they are, are they married, single, male, female, etc. Really get to know them. Thing about people who have bought from you in the past and use that as a bench mark to start with if you need help.
This is so important. You don’t want to limit yourself but you want the right kind of customer. I don’t recommend using worldwide settings. You may reach more people but you will also get people who aren’t quite the right fit. Again think of your customer base. Where are they? Use those countries as a starting point and then broaden your places as your business grows.
I use Canva to make really cute images for my ads. You don’t want to have too much text in your ad or Facebook will deny it. You also want to make sure you use the right size. If you are doing a carousel you want to have multiple images.
Don’t try and sell your $1000 package on a facebook ad. People who see your ads have no clue who you are. The idea of the ad is for them to get to know you and trust you. Only after you have built a relationship with them can you even consider having them purchase a larger package like this.
