Starting your business is not easy. It takes time to get your offer right, understand your target audience, get your systems in place, and so much more. For those of you who are getting started in this process, I’m going to share with you the top 5 tools and resources that have helped me grow my own business in 2019.
Female Entrepreneur Association
I’ve been a part of the Members Club of FEA for the last 3 years and let me tell you, it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made for my business. Beyond all the support they give you with their monthly sessions and masterclasses, I have met some of my best friends in that group. Some of us have even banded together to start additional businesses. I could not get through my day to day tasks without the support of the friends I have made in this group. Being together with women who are running a business online just like I am is a big change from my family who still don’t quite get what I do.
Yolt (Or Mint in the USA)
Yolt is an app where I can connect all my bank accounts. What is glorious about this is it tells me how much money I have and where, what I’ve been spending my money on, notifies me when my balance gets low, when I have upcoming withdrawals, in short, it’s my mini bookkeeper. Before Yolt, I had to categorize every single transaction from my bank statements. It was hours of my week I did not enjoy and will never get back. Thankfully, I don’t have to do that anymore.
I feel a bit weird admitting this. As a long time Asana user, I’ve switched this year. Mostly because I love how easy it is to share and copy Trello boards. I can organize my tasks easier. I can see what is where and how. Pretty much the light bulb moment came to me because I would get overwhelmed with everything I had to do and I would grab some post-it notes, get writing, and line them up. As I looked at them I realized, they look just like Trello boards. In fact, in my new Ultimate Website Bundle, I even included a Trello board for all those crazy website tasks![bctt tweet=”As a long time Asana user, I’ve switched this year. Infusionsoft (Now Keap)
The biggest time saver for me in life? Not having to schedule appointments or send emails. Do you know what Infusionsoft does for me? Both of those things! It’s a CRM, email management, task organizer, funnel creator, landing page creator, scheduler, and so much more. And let me tell you. It is so nice to have all of those amazing features in one place. No need to hop around or zap things. It’s all connected together.
How many times have you done a launch with lots of emails and social media posts and blog posts and had to bounce between twelve tabs to keep it all straight? Yea, I’ve been there. So many moving pieces. So many places for a disconnect. The last time I launched my membership the SET (Simple, Easy Tech), I didn’t have to worry about that. Because I had it all in one place. That’s right. CoSchedule helped me organize all my emails, social media posts, and blog posts right in one spot. As you can tell I like having things altogether.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these amazing tips. And I would love to hear some of yours! Comment down below the best apps that have helped you grow your business and be entered to win a free 3 month membership to the SET (Simple, Easy Tech).
