Recently I was taking a real look at my audience. I found something interesting. A good portion of the people who were watching my videos and downloading my WordPress guide were people who wanted to move their website from another platform like Squarespace or Wix over to WordPress. But they weren’t doing it because it was the right move for their website. They were doing it because “everyone says you have to be on WordPress”.
Now I know, I’m the WordPress girl. But really, deep down, I’m the website girl. I want what’s best for your website. And sometimes, that is just leaving it as it is. I know. Shocking. There are many occasions where switching to WordPress is the right move for your website. Many of my clients who have switched have seen improvements on SEO, found an easier to use platform, are loving having full control over their website, and so much more. That’s why I created the quiz, “Should you switch to WordPress“
Mostly, I wanted this to be a resource for whenever anyone came to me with the infamous question, should I make the switch. Since creating it, so many people have taken the quiz. In fact, it’s one of my most popular blog posts.
Should I create a quiz for my website?
Before we go any further, you should really consider why you want to create a quiz for your website. Many people might tell you it’s a great way to get more sign ups and it’s great for increasing SEO and both can be true. But you also want to consider if it’s the right move for you.
- Do you have a question people ask you all the time that can be answered with a series of questions?
- Do you have a call to action for no matter what that answer is?
- Will your readers enjoy doing a quiz online?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, a quiz could be great for your website. (I’m starting to think I should have created a quiz for this….)
