Recently I have noticed my systems failing. Like all over the place failing. Blogs weren’t going out. I was behind on filming these fabulous videos for you. All of my beautiful processes seemed to be flying out the window. And the reason for it was everything was everywhere. There were too many moving parts. I couldn’t see the big picture because everything kept slipping through the cracks. That’s when I found CoSchedule.
Where’s my marketing?
Pinterest on tailwind, blogs on WordPress, newsletters in MailChimp, facebook post can’t remember where. I felt like I was logging into to ten different websites a day just to see where all my marketing was. And it got weird. So many apps on my phone. So many things! My general rule in business is if it’s not easy to explain, there’s something wrong. And that’s what my marketing was starting to feel like.
Looking for a better way
Enter CoSchedule. Let’s start at the beginning. ALL MY ACCOUNTS ARE IN ONE PLACE!!!!! Oh just saying it feels good. Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, my Facebook group, my blog posts. I can see them all in a beautiful calendar and I know they are all working. I can see what stage they are in. I can start planning out my content. I can see where my promotional posts are and where my informational posts are.
How gorgeous is that! And I can move things around easily. I can add tasks for myself. I can create checklists like create video for blog and create pinterest image for blog. And I can hand all these things off to my intern who can help me get things done. And I don’t have to send them all over the internet either! Check out this video about using the beautiful calendar
Organizing My Blog With CoSchedule
Want to know where I’m writing this blog post? Easy. Directly in CoSchedule! I didn’t even have to log in to my website to do this. The first thing I noticed is they have a headline analyzer directly in the blog area. Once again, no need to jump all over the internet. Second awesome thing I noticed, they had already created a template with a checklist for the post. No need to re-invent the wheel here. Just a simple create the post and follow the list. Plus it added all the tasks already to my super cool calendar. Yay me! Once I was ready adding all of this super awesome content and adding all these amazing images and videos, it converted everything to WordPress for me.
Should You Switch to CoSchedule?
While it can be a bit overwhelming to look at in the beginning, it only seemed to take me about an hour or so to get used to CoSchedule. They also offer a free 30-minute onboarding zoom call to help you get started. When I think about how I have all of my systems all over the place and the time wasted getting things in order and communicating, the monthly cost of CoSchedule (starting a little over $1 per day) seems incredibly reasonable to me.
