Today building a website is super easy. Within 30 minutes people can create a website thanks to WordPress, Wix, Weebly, and other sites like these. But what are they really doing? Wordpress lets you design webpages and then translates the design into html speak (ever click the visual and text editor buttons when doing a post?) That’s pretty much what HTML editors are.
Basically they simplify the creation of web pages that are designed using HTML and allows convenience and functionality such as templates and already created things like feedback forms, spreadsheets and charts, photo gallery and much more.
Having an understanding of html code is useful if you say want to enhance your web pages or inset better functionality. There will be times when you are playing with a webpage or blog post for hours and it could have easily been fixed with two clicks of a button to change the html code.
To some people, HTML may seem scary. It did to me when I first started. Brackets and quotations and letters. What does it all mean?!?!?!
