Today’s gift is a special one. It’s exact schedule that I follow every day. First I’ll show you what I do day to day, week to week, and month-to-month to keep my business moving forward. So let’s get started.
Daily Schedule for Working From Home
I start my mornings with a nice cup of tea and my journal. This is also a meditation time for me. After a nice warm shower, I’ll grab the dogs and them For a walk. Once I’m home, I’ll have a nice breakfast and clean the house a bit. Then it’s time for yoga before I get started working. In the morning, I don’t take appointments. This is my distraction-free work time. This lets me get my big task for the day done before lunch.
After lunch, I am very Mediterranean and take a nap. This lets me be refreshed and ready for my afternoon appointments. I take calls in the afternoons but only 3 calls max per day. My acuity calendar makes sure of that. Before I close up for the day, I interact on social media, respond to emails and messages, and make sure everything is ready for tomorrow.
After my work is done for the day, I like to relax and spend some time with family. We have dinner together, take walks, watch movies, and all that fun family stuff. Before I go to sleep, I do like to take a bath and read a bit to relax.
Weekly Productivity Schedule for Entrepreneurs
First let me say, weekends are not for working. They are for relaxing. Working seven days a week will only lead to one thing, burnout. As tempting as it may be to use your weekends to power through and catch up on things, I don’t recommend this. If you are still transitioning from your full-time position to getting your side business up and running, I would recommend only doing one power weekend per month. Try and get your other tasks done during the week either by getting up and hour or two earlier or going to bed an hour or two later.
Ok, here it is, how to get everything done for your business in just a few hours per day.
MONDAY – CEO Date, Schedule Blogs, Newsletters, and Social Media for the week.
TUESDAY – Update my website, add new items to my portfolio, change out banners
WEDNESDAY – Update my funnels, create landing pages, work on new products and programs
THURSDAY – Work on SEO and PR tasks
FRIDAY – Money date, pay bills, send invoices, bookkeeping
Monthly Tasks for Entrepreneurs
At the end of each month, there are new things to do. Most of it is planning and review. I like to take an hour or two to review my annual and quarterly goals, make sure I am still on target, review my incomes, plan my budget, set my calendar for the month, etc. This is the time for me to schedule all the things so during the month all I need to do is follow the plan and keep moving forward.
