A couple months ago, I stumbled onto something really, really cool. It’s called a moon planner. What it does it tells me what activities I should be paying attention to based on the different phases of the moon. Crazy! I know. But let me tell you, after two months of working this way, I don’t think I can go back.
How it works
In very, very basic terms, you schedule all of your high priority activities just before the full moon. That’s when you are most able to be productive. Then after the full moon, that’s when you start to get into a period of reflection and taking a mini break. As the new moon comes, this is a time of planning, planting seeds, creating tasks lists, etc.
Why it works
Honestly, I have seen myself do this quite often. I find I have super productive weeks and super lazy weeks. We all tend to this on some level whether we think about it or not. I even do it on a weekly basis. There are some days I am super productive so I make sure to schedule important tasks on those days.
What else is included?
So I should mention, this definitely falls under the category of woo! I love all things woo! This planner does double as a journal. It not only tells you how to be the most productive but also tells you how to take in some self-care items. It gives you journal prompts and things to be thinking about during the different phases.
