This week we are so lucky to have this incredible woman featured here. Say hello to my good friend Melissa Buchan
- What is your name?
Melissa Buchan
- Write a short bio about yourself
Over the past ten years I have helped numerous women and couples better understand their fertility and manage their reproductive health. I partner with physicians who are trained in NaProTechnology, offering a holistic and restorative approach to infertility issues. In 2008 I helped found the FertilityCare Center of St. Mary’s in College Station and had the great privilege to serve as the Center’s Responsible Practitioner for over five years. This was a part time job with a physical location. Now the great city of Houston is the place I call home – and in 2017 I launched a new affiliate, Virtus FertiltyCare. My focus is to work from home and offer online consultations.

- What is your website about?
Virtus FertilityCare is an educational service program providing professional instruction in the Creighton Model FertilityCare System. Clients can schedule sessions through my website and I hope to continue to increase functionality and user experience through my website.
- Who does your website help?
Women and married couples. Those who want to plan a family without the use of synthetic hormones and those struggling with infertility.
- Why did you start your website?
To reach potential clients and serve the needs of my current clients trough a beautiful and user friendly online experience.
- What was the hardest part about starting your website?
Writing Copy and organizing it. Building a website is much like putting together a complicated puzzle.
- What advice would you give someone who is thinking about starting a website?
Dive in a do it! Websites don’t just happen over night. Set a goal and stick to it. I gave myself 30 days and launched my site even though, at day 30, there was still work to be done. Through the process I learned so much and I now know that my website will continue to evolve and improve as long as I say dedicated and passionate in doing what I do.
